Comparison

Looplift vs. ABConvert

ABConvert is 4.7★ over 72 reviews, Built for Shopify, live since October 2022, and priced from $99/month on a Starter plan metered in test orders (App Store listing, 31 July 2026). Its centre of gravity is commercial testing: price tests, shipping tests, theme and template tests, checkout tests and URL redirects, with an audience-targeting layer and Chinese-language support.

Almost none of that overlaps with Looplift. Pricing rules, shipping and checkout are out of our scope on purpose — they are server-side commerce logic, and a tool that changes them can cost a merchant real money when it is wrong. We test what a storefront says and shows, and we say so on day one rather than after you have installed us.

When abconvert is the better choice

  • Your next test is a price, a shipping threshold, or something in checkout. Buy ABConvert; we will not build this.
  • You want per-order metering because your testing volume is spiky, or you need Chinese-language support.
  • You want the Built for Shopify badge as part of your vendor criteria today.

When Looplift is the better choice

  • The changes you actually need are on the page — the product description, the CTA, what appears above the fold, what order things are in.
  • You want the tool to produce the test plan, not just execute it.
  • You want an unambiguous boundary around what a testing app may touch in your store, written down before you install it.

These two barely compete. ABConvert tests the commercial variables; Looplift tests the storefront and refuses the commercial ones on purpose. If your hypotheses are about price, this comparison should end here. If they are about what your page says and shows — and if you would rather not decide alone — that is our half.
